HISTORY
Evans Construction, Inc. originated in 1980 and has become one of Richmond’s finest contractors. We have over the past ten (12) years negotiated seventy-five percent (75%) of projects performed and bid twenty-five percent (25%), keeping very competitive in construction costs. We have over the life of the company averaged a million dollars of sales per month. We have constructed 36 school projects, 74 Wendy’s Restaurants, 79 churches, corporate headquarters for Figgie International; William and Mary Muscarelle Museum; University of Virginia MR-4 Hospital Research Lab; Masonic Home Dining Hall, Kitchen and, 60 Bed Nursing Facility; St. Francis Adult Home 50 Bed Nursing Facility, Kitchen and Dining Room; VCU Student Commons Phase 3, and many other types of projects. Many of our projects have been design build and we would, with the Owner and Architect, develop a team to help under the design needs, prepare and budget, plans and build the project.

Kenneth W. (Kenny) Evans is President and C.E.O. of Evans Construction, Inc. With an educational background in civil engineering and in construction management, Kenny has actively headed up major construction projects for more than 30 years. His involvement with every Evans project has been intense and comprehensive. In addition to his duties as President, Kenny brings the costing, planning and scheduling operations into focus for every Evans project.
